The Semana Santa Marinera organised the Semana Santa Marinera 2023 Awards Gala on Saturday 25th February. The awards, which usually recognise relevant Valencian entities and individuals, this year went to the association Mamás en Acción, the Tribunal de las Aguas and the gynaecologist Dr. Juana Crespo. At the same event, the Junta Mayor’s silver medals were also awarded to different brotherhoods and also to the Brotherhood of the Holy Chalice of the Supper and the Brotherhood of the Descent of the Lord, for their 75th anniversary. In addition, a special prize was awarded to Francisco Burguera, a member of the Junta Mayor for several consecutive terms and an outstanding brother of the Real Cofradía de Granaderos Virgen de la Soledad. After the presentation of awards, the traditional Semana Santa Marinera fellowship dinner was held.
